The Background

Hanane started CocoBowlz as a side hustle to create products that elevate mundane daily rituals – “'A feel-good moment, your way, every day”. The product mix inspires joy, creativity and is rooted in sustainability by using 100% natural and upcycled coconuts.

Despite the founder doing a wonderful job of successfully bringing the brand to market, Cocobowlz was struggling to accelerate revenue and was losing share to aggressive competition. Originally the founder approached Hello Earth to accelerate advertising performance through Facebook and Google ads but upon auditing the competition, we knew we needed to do more to set the brand up for long-term growth.

Following our proposal, Hanane decided to partner with the agency to embark on a full rebrand, from brand guidelines to a new and improved web build, right through to a digital re-launch strategy for growth across Facebook, Instagram, and Google (plus later, email marketing).

The Strategy

We began by developing a comprehensive brand strategy including audience segmentation, brand pillars, customer personas, and brand style guide. By establishing CocoBowlz as a lifestyle brand that encapsulated products both old and new, we created a consistent brand story and brand identity that would go on to guide all the future marketing efforts of the business.

For the website, we developed a wireframe, structure and intuitive categorisation to elevate the user experience and optimise it for conversion. We migrated the site from WooCommerce to Shopify and supported it with a scalable tech stack, making it easier for the CocoBowlz team to manage products, reviews, upsells and track performance - in addition to the ability to take advantage of innovative apps as the business grows.

Alongside this, we conducted competitor research to get to grips with what we were up against, created BAU offers to win new customers and designed actionable omni-channel marketing strategies across Google, Facebook, and Klaviyo email marketing to help CocoBowlz not only reach more target audiences and boost revenue but retain customers for the long term.

The Results

In just two short months CocoBowlz has seen a 9,102% increase in revenue and has even had positive feedback from customers on their shiny new branding.

Within just two months of partnering with Hello Earth Agency, CocoBowlz achieved: 

  • 414% increase in website traffic
  • 760% increase in conversion (before working with us, their conversion rate sat at 0.2)
  • 9,102% revenue growth 
  • 665 new subscribers (before working with us, CocoBowlz didn’t utilise the power of email marketing)
  • An optimised ecommerce website on both desktop and mobile with seamless shopping experiences from product discovery to conversion, high-converting product detail pages, and faster site loading speed.
